Philadelphia enjoys a great many legacies: The Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, cheesesteaks and pretzels, the Phanatic and Gritty… and, of course, musical traditions as rich as those of any American city, whether considering classical, jazz or soul.
That goes for New Music as well, and Relâche is proud to have
been helping to carry that banner since our founding in 1977. So, what better way to celebrate our local heroes than to flex our civic pride with a musical “block party” at one of our favorite performance venues?

Come out and join the party, where we’ll perform a wide variety of music from the best of Philly’s deep roster of great composers: Kile Smith, Evan Solot, Andrea Clearfield, Paul Epstein, Leslie Burrs, and more! We’re so lucky to have worked directly with all of these composers in developing our repertoire… come join us for a real Philly Special!
